Why Recycle?

Recycling is a great way to protect our environment and stimulate our economy. Recycling saves resources, prevents pollution, supports public health, and creates jobs. It saves money, avoids landfills, and best of all, it’s easy! Recycling creates a closed-loop system where unwanted products are returned back to manufacturers for use in new products. This prevents the pollution and destruction that occurs when virgin materials –like trees and precious metals– are extracted from the earth.

What is E-waste?
Electronic waste or e-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their “useful life.” Computers, televisions, Cell phones, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled.
Recycling Makes Sense
Unlike landfills, which simply stockpile trash, recycling removes waste completely, then turns it back to useful products. Recycling saves money, and in turn reduces the amount of trash going to the landfills.
Paper Recycling

A ton of paper made from recycled paper saves:

• 7,000 gallons of water
• Between 17 and 31 trees
• 60 pounds of air pollutants

All these Items can be recycled for a small fee when dropped off at our facility.

• Mattress or Box Spring = $20.00 (must be dry, free of bedbugs no excessive stains)
• Microwave Oven = $5.00
• Propane/Helium Tanks = $1.00 per gallon of actual tank (not what is left in the tank)
• Items that Contain Refrigerant* = $20 for devices that contains and uses a refrigerant for households and offices. It is important to recycle fridges in a proper manor! The Freon in these items deplete the ozone if leaked, we are certified to recycle these chemicals in the proper manor. Do not throw them in the dump to break, leak, and hurt our planet, it is everyone responsibility to take care of it! Because of the added care that needs to be done there is a $20 fee to recycle.

• Air conditioner
• Refrigerator
• Chiller
• Freezer
