Trademark Metals Recycling, LLC (TMR) is a wholly owned venture of Cincinnati-based, The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ), one of USA’s largest scrap metal companies. Our parent Company’s rich history began in 1885. We possess a wealth of experience and an entrepreneurial spirit that is vital to success in the scrap recycling industry. DJJ is also part of Nucor Corporation’s family of companies. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Nucor is the leading purchaser of ferrous scrap and the largest recycler in North America. TMR was formed in 1998 by combining DJJ’s Tampa Port and West Palm Beach FL recycling facilities with Daytona Salvage, Yorke Doliner, and Everglades Recycling. Today, we operate 22 Florida recycling facilities.We buy all types of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals at most of our recycling locations, with a team of specialists who continually monitor market conditions to establish fair, competitive prices.

Trademark Metal’s Ocala facility at 6th Street is proud to be the first ever RIOS-certified (Recycling Industry Operating Standard) scrap recycling facility in the world! The Ocala location was certified in the Fall of 2009.RIOS is the stringent Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEH&S) standard introduced by The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) for recycling facilities. This certification represents our continuing commitment to Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEH&S).
