RECYCLING ITEMS - SINGLE STREAM:  COLLECTED EACH MONDAY/TUESDAY.

NGT will accept the following items for recycling: Metal & aluminum cans, plastic bottles & jugs, glass bottles & jars, newspapers, phonebooks, magazines, mixed paper, cardboard boxes, cereal & cracker boxes. All of these items may be placed in the same recycling container and separated at the recycling center. The following items are NOT acceptable for recycling: plastic bags, styrofoam packaging or trays, pizza boxes, hardback books, lids, caps, or tops, ceramics, lightbulbs, pots & pans, or alkaline batteries. Propane tanks, rocks, bricks, and logs are NOT to be placed at the curb.

SEASONAL ITEMS - YARD DEBRIS: These items will be collected March 1 through December 24, 2013. Outside this period yard waste may be collected with refuse. Items must be on the curb by 6:00am of the scheduled day. Collection of the following items will be on Wednesday ONLY. Grass clippings and leaves must be in bags weighing no more than fifty (50) pounds and no more than ten (10) bags will be collected at a time. Brush & limbs must be tied in bundles no more than six (6) feet long and six (6) inches in diameter and no more than five (5) bundles will be collected at a time. WHOLE TREES AND LOGS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
Christmas trees will be accepted during the first 2 weeks of January.
