HOW WE ARE THE GREENEST

80% of what we pick up is reused, repurposed or recycled. We use biodiesel fuel in both of our diesel trucks, and minimize travel time based on the fastest routes between jobs. One of our major goals is to DIVERT 'waste' AWAY from the landfill to preserve our planet.

Junk removal

Eighty-five percent of what we pick up is reused, repurposed, restored or recycled. We do everything in our power to re-sell your junk to people who can make good use of it, or we repurpose of upcycle it in our shop. We also recycle, of course. If none of those strategies aren’t possible, we break it apart with our own hands and take all of the recyclable parts to a local recycling center. If, and only if, the recycle center is not an option, we take it to a landfill.

AFFORDABLE JUNK REMOVAL

We’ll take anything you have that we can resell at our Regeneration Station store. (Items must be in resalable condition. No cat, dog, or animal issues, no weird smells, in working order, and in good, used condition.)Since most haulers charge by volume, this means BIG SAVINGS to you as we have the best volume pricing and trucks that make the number of trips minimal!

Scrap Metal

At Junk Recyclers Inc., we do our part in helping the environment by sorting through the junk we collect and sending it to the proper place of disposal. One area where we see a decent return is scrap metal. Metal scrapping is something everyone can do! While steel is the lowest it’s ever been, others like aluminum (beer cans) and old copper piping you may have lying around can really add up!! Crushing cans and then tossing them in an extra trash can outside with a lid could add up to cover a bill or two! Depending on how much scrap metal you can save up at once, maybe even some rent money!! Cha ching!

Other pluses are old appliances that can’t be reused. Washing machines, refrigerators and microwaves are some of the heavier ones. When you replace these items, why not get as much as you can from the?! Especially if they aren’t even functioning!

Salvage

The salvage business has a rich history, dating back to the mid 1600s, when Albrecht von Treileben was contracted by King Gustavus Adolphus, of Sweden to salvage the warship Vasa, which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. Throughout history, ships were salvaged if they contained valuable materials or artifacts that could be retrieved and resold.Salvage today is no longer reserved for maritime activities but is now used for junk removal. As American rapper Macklemore says in his hit song Thrift Stop, “One man’s trash, that’s another man’s come-up (bargain).”Broken, slightly damaged or whole, salvage is yet another alternative to junk going to a landfill.
