Polyethylene Foam (PE) also known as PE, is a strong, resilient closed cell foam. Used for shock absorbing, vibration dampening, loose fill, and its most common use: cushioning products in packaging applications. Polyethylene is lightweight, shatter proof, flexible, cost-effective, and impervious to mildew, mold, rot, and bacteria.

On Site Analysis
One of the services that sets Becher Plastics apart from its competition is our free project consultation. We'll work with you to coordinate an on-site visit at your location to assess the type of scrap you are handling. We'll talk with you to understand its current handling conditions and make recommendations for the best solution.

Brokerage Services
We buy and sell various types of plastic resins in a multitude of forms. If you have a particular plastic in mind, let us know and we'll do our best to either locate it for you or find an interested party who would be interested in purchasing it for their use.

Market Insight

We are pleased to announce that we have completed the first stage of our expansion in 2013. This has been a long and tedious task but we are up and running...and loving what we see!In late August of 2012 we received our Starlinger 165 extruder equipped with an Ettlinger screen filter. A few weeks later we were up and running at well over 2,500# per hour. Our finished product looks great!Last week we completed the installation of our Conair additive feeder which allows us to dose up to 5% of pigments, dyes and other additives. Our initial trial consisted of adding black dye to our 25-30 MFI HOPP. Fantastic results!

We also put our Ettlinger screen filter through a workout last week. We ran post consumer PP bottle caps with PET contamination at levels in excess of 5%. The filter removed all the PET. It was fun watching that filter work. It is well worth the investment!We have been producing a lot of 25-35 MFI random color HOPP and COPP. We can also take these products black. We currently have a few truckloads of each available.
