INVESTMENT CASTING SERVICES

At Waltek Inc., we provide custom ferrous and non-ferrous investment castings using lost wax casting methods for a range of industries around the globe. Investment casting is an extremely versatile process that has lower associated tooling costs than sand casting or die casting, making it ideal for complex or low to medium volume production. Because lost wax castings are very consistent and produced at near net shapes, minimal additional machining is typically required to achieve the desired tolerances.

We produce aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and bronze castings between 0.1 in and 18 in, and from 0.0625 to 40 lb. Automatic, semi-automatic, or manual casting methods may be used to ensure that manufacturing is optimized for a given part geometry and production volume.

In addition to casting, we provide a broad range of secondary services that range from surface finishing to nondestructive testing. Finishing options include deburring, grinding, heat treating, and plating to ISO and Mil-Spec standards. In addition prototypes can be produced using stereolithography (SLA) to aid in product development.

Lead times average less than 20 days for as cast parts, with turnkey projects averaging less than 7 weeks, depending on the scope and volume of the project.
