Specialty Machine Products, Incorporated began business in 1958 by Raymond (RJ) Zmudzinski in a building occupying 900 square feet. Convenienlty located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin one hour north of Chicago, IL. and less than a mile south of downtown Milwaukee. The work was steady and quickly the company's reputation for excellent work spread throughout the greater Milwaukee areas machinery builders.

The company was solidifying as a mainstay source for tooling of the highest quality. Raymond partnered with both his son's Steve and Joe in the mid '70's, thereby securing the company's future into the next generation. By 1988, both Steve and Joe became the company's owners while moving forward with hard work and continuing the company's success.

​By 1992, Specialty Machine Products was growing and they acquired right next door Peter's Tool Company. Now nearly doubling the size of the company manufacturing in two buildings and increased our customer base. We strive to keep our machines, equipment, tooling, and supporting technology current.

In 2020, Specialty Machine Products purhased their third building in Muskego, WI. to create more space for continued customer growth. We invite you to give us a try so that we can become your "one stop parts shop" of choice for all your machining needs.

Specialty Machine Products is still family owned and operated machine shop and with continuing investments we are poised to take on your most challenging projects. We have many machines and we regularly manufacture highly complicated parts while also working with in extremely small tolerances.
