Rinehart Jewelry in Nevada, Missouri, began in 1952 with a dream of providing fine quality jewelry with an enjoyable shopping experience. Jim & Helen Rinehart bought the tiny jewelry department from Dr. Clay Walker's optometrist office at 213 W Cherry in Nevada. Two years later he bought the building at 205 W Cherry and moved into his own location.  After several expansions and additions, Rinehart Jewelry was growing strong as both the business and the family grew! The late 70s and early 80s brought the addition of Jim's daughter, Kathy and her husband Sonny Butler. In 1986, Jim officially turned the reign over to Kathy and Sonny. The late 90s and 2000s brought about more additions of Sonny & Kathy's daughter, Jennifer, and her husband, Cesar Zermeño. And now, many times you can spot Rinehart Jewelry's 4th generation running around the store. Sonny and Kathy were fulfilling the dream Rinehart Jewelry was founded on.

In the spring of 2012, Rinehart Jewelry acquired a new location on the corner of Austin Blvd and Cedar St. The still family owned jewelry store is still located in a pleasant downtown setting in our southwest Missouri town, but now, right on the main strip. The friendly, educated and growing staff is anxious to show you their new store full of excellent selections of fine jewelry, fashion jewelry and watches.  Rinehart Jewelry has been a member of the American Gem Society since 1975 and the staff is educated in all aspects of the jewelry industry. The AGS is a trade association dedicated to proven ethics, knowledge, and consumer protection within the jewelry industry. All members are held to the highest ethical standards in the industry and are re-certified annually to maintain their AGS titles.
