PAPERSTAR SORTING FOR CARDBOARD

The PaperStar is a star screen used for mechanically separating cardboard and paper. A chain belt with a 45-degree gradient feeds the PaperStar. This gradient ensures that when the material is dumped on the PaperStar it is spread evenly.The PaperStar sorts on size, weight and stiffness of the material. The inflexible cardboard is simply and effectively separated from newspapers and magazines. Only the smallest pieces of cardboard still need to be sorted manually.
After the material has passed through the PaperStar, only a very small number of people will be needed to do some extra manual sorting afterwards. Depending on the composition of the material and the size of the screen, 20 tons can be processed if the flow of material is kept constant.
