Mid-Atlantic Steel, LLC is a structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator located in New Castle, Delaware. We have been in business since 1985, and have since grown to become one of the Mid-Atlantic Region’s leading structural steel contractors with a history of successfully completed projects throughout Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

Mid-Atlantic Steel utilizes a quality assurance program throughout the duration of every project. We are certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) in the Steel Building Structures category. This certification confirms that we have the personnel, organization, experience, capability and commitment meeting the requirements set forth by the AISC Certification Program. Since AISC sets the standard for quality in the steel construction industry, our customers can be assured their project is being completed by an industry leader. 

Mid-Atlantic Steel operates a fully automated 30,000 square foot facility capable of producing over 1,000 tons of steel per month.  We currently own a drill line, angle line, and cambering, plate shear and press break machines as well as numerous other pieces of equipment. Mid-Atlantic also maintains a transport fleet, which includes (3) truck tractors and more than (20) flat-bed trailers.  Additionally, our in house detailing department utilizes 3D technologies such as Design Data SDS/2 software when developing shop drawings. 

East Coast Erectors, Inc., our erection affiliate, has experience with a variety of steel structures and materials including structural steel, steel bar joists, metal deck, and miscellaneous metals. Similar to Mid-Atlantic Steel, East Coast Erectors is a Certified Steel Erector through the AISC Certification Program. We own numerous cranes ranging from 14 ton to 110 ton, more than 30 man lifts from 30 feet to 125 feet, as well as a fleet of fully equipped state of the art service vehicles. Together, with Mid-Atlantic Steel, we provide turn-key projects through both the fabrication and erection phases, thus offering a general contractor, construction manager or owner a single source of contact for answering questions, effecting changes or resolving conflicts.
