LIMCO, founded in 1975, has a deep commitment to safety, integrity and service. Headquartered in Sanford, NC, LIMCO is a regional processor of scrap metals and post-consumer recyclables.

With satellite locations in Raleigh, NC and Lillington, NC LIMCO is able to provide central North Carolina with quality recycling services. Our yards have the flexibility and equipment to serve industrial customers, both large and small, demolition contractors and any other type of scrap metal generator.

LIMCO is an active member of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries and the newly formed Recycling Association of North Carolina.

Lee Iron and Metal in Sanford, NC, along with our satellite locations, is ideally situated to provide container service for industrial customers and demolition contractors as well as the general public. Our service area includes all of central North Carolina and northeast South Carolina.

For our Industrial and Demolition Contractors, we offer on-site consultation to help you sort and contain your scrap recyclables, so that you consistently get the highest return for your scrap products.

Lee Iron and Metal has the equipment to process all types of scrap metal and many post consumer recyclables in a safe, environmentally friendly manner. For example, we have a 10,000 square foot building devoted to storing machine shop turnings and other oily scrap. With the oil collection and storage system, LIMCO can guarantee that a customers machine shop turnings never come into contact with the environment. Lee Iron and Metal is committed to providing our customers with prompt, professional service in a safe, eco-friendly manner.
