About KLW Recycling
- Started in 1998 in Holland, Michigan as a recycling center for manufacturing scrap metal, KLW Recycling quietly evolved into a two-location, bi-county facility that accepts all sorts of scrap materials from corporate and public consumers alike!

- When it comes to meeting your recycling needs, KLW offers a number of solutions for your scrap materials management and recycling needs including custom containers and specialized handling.

- Custom Solutions: We take pride in developing innovative solutions, tailor-made to each customer's specific needs for efficient material handling, scheduling and maximum recyclability. If you're not sure if materials can be recycled, just ask and we'll work for a solution!
- On Site/Off Site for Corporate Partners: KLW offers specialized programs to meet your individual site requirements, providing appropriate on-site containers for your business as well as a variety of options for scrap hauling. With luger boxes, roll-off containers, flatbeds, van trailers and box trucks to pick up Gaylord boxes, barrels and self-dumping hoppers; KLW will work to meet your needs, both large and small!
- At Your Service: We work efficiently, effectively and safely on pick-ups and deliveries with same-day or next-day service availability. We provide fast and courteous service and provide immediate payment for materials that are dropped-off in our retail program.

Prohibited materials
- Refrigerators and A/C units with Freon, oil and gas. (sealed units must be out) there will be a removal fee for any items that are brought in and contain Freon.
- Propane gas tanks or any SEALED gas tank.
- All wheels with rubber
- Oil filters
- Ballast containing PCB's
- Live ammo
- Radioactive materials
- Hazardous waste (Defined by the DEQ)
- Kegs
- Spray cans containing gas or liquids
- Paint or lacquer containers of any kind
- Mercury switches
- Glass, carpet, wood, or dirt
- Capacitors
- Lead sheets from batteries
- Fluorescent lights containing mercury or mercury vapor bulbs
- Any automotive parts containing liquid or sludge. Customers may be charged a removal fee if liquids or sludge is present.
- Oil based furnaces
- Railroad equipment must be accompanied with proper railroad authority approval.
