Greer Inc is a leading industrial fabrication company operating in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Lakewood, WA. Since our founding in 1952, we have grown to become one of the most reputable sources of high-quality UL listed tanks in the region. We focus on providing excellent products and services at unbeatable prices, while delivering consistent results on time, every time. Our work has been recognized for excellence in safety for 10 years in a row by the STI Board of directors, which has honored Greer Inc with their "Platinum Award."

A Family Business Through And Through

In 1952, Glenn Greer first began manufacturing tanks at his family's home in Fairbanks. 8 years later, he opened up Greer Tank & Welding, going on to become licensed to build UL listed tanks in 1962. After expanding to Anchorage (Greer Tank Inc) and again to Lakewood in 1995 under the name Greer Steel, Inc, we have proven ourselves as industry leaders capable of withstanding the test of time.
 
These days, the company is still family run, with David and Mark Greer holding the positions of Vice President and General Manager, respectively, in our Fairbanks location. Our President is Ruth Greer's son-in-law, Stephen Helms, who operates from Anchorage.

We employ certified, on-staff welding inspectors and utilize a thorough quality control program to ensure that no details of your project go unnoticed. 
 
We operate a fleet of delivery vehicles from three convenient locations, which allows us the coverage and mobility we need to meet your needs quickly and economically. In addition, Greer Inc's Lakewood facility serves the Alaskan coastal communities, which are only accessible by water. Each of our facilities is uniquely qualified to meet your tank and steel fabrication needs.

At Greer, we have mastered many forms of welding over the years, allowing us to perform a truly vast variety of tasks with complete confidence. We are at home in the fabrication of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
