Bridgman Oil Company Inc., we believe that excellent customer service is very important.  Without our customers, we cannot exist.We try to accommodate everyone's specific needs for all types of customers.  From those who want their tanks kept full, to the ones that call in when they need a product. Call-in customers generally receive their order in the same day.  However, at peak usage times, it may be the next day. We work hard to incorporate the call-in customers with our keep-full customers so that there are no extra trips involved. As with anything, this does not always work out.Unfortunately, with the increase of demands from the insurance companies, we do not accept any more will-call customers for propane. Propane customers are kept on a keep-fill basis. This is more convenient for our customers and Bridgman Oil because when the driver is in the area, he can decide whether or not the tanks need to be filled. Our customers can rest easy knowing they will not be without propane.

In 1960 Elmer O. Bridgman started selling Standard oil products as a commissioned agent in Mt. Hope, Kansas. In 1964 Standard Oil Company transferred Elmer Bridgman to Burrton expanding his sales territory. In 1976 Standard Oil sold Elmer Bridgman the business where he started Bridgman Oil Company selling petroleum products as an Amoco jobber. In 1977, the Hutchinson location was purchased and the office was established there.Today, the Hutchinson office handles all the accounting functions and dispatching of trucks.  Bridgman Oil Company also offers three Cardtrol stations located in the following cities: Hutchinson, Burrton, and Pleasantview. The Cardtrol system allows our customers to have self-serve fuel 24/7.  Our Hutchinson and Burrton locations have bulk facilities for refined fuels, as well as a warehouse for oils and lubricants.  This allows for prompt delivery of those products to all of our customers. Our Hutchinson location is the primary storage facility for propane.
