Apex Automotive was opened by Bill Truesdale in 1973 for one reason...he couldn't find anyone to do the kind of work he needed done on his race car. A 1967 Lotus Series II Europa.      Focusing primarily on vintage European vehicles in the early days of business, now imports and domestics of all flavors find their way through the doors of Apex. Apex Automotive now has customers from all four corners of the United States; from serious amateur racers, to hobbyists, to restorations.       As more and more customers lined up outside the doors, Bill knew that more and more services would need to be added to the list. Soon enough came various pieces of machinery, such as a Stewart-Warner balancer, rod reconditioning equipment, overhead camshaft boring equipment, and more.
