When Nathan graduated from college in 2006 and begun applying for grad schools in the field of podiatry, the opportunity to re-acquire the yard formerly owned by his father and uncle and had since been sold decades ago, presented itself. Since the time of selling what would eventually become the current Marler Auto, the family had operated several other operations, and had little interest in reuniting with the original yard at first. After a bit of consideration, Nathan decided to try his hand at running the family business and his father Bruce went ahead and bought the yard back, along with some added acreage located behind it.

Driven by his love of all things cars, Nathan and family has grown the old yard into a thriving and highly successful business. Thanks to the efforts of all involved, Marler Auto has become the single largest salvage yard in Idaho. The yard employs a staff of 4 full-time workers to process about 800 cars a year. The Marlers are proud of what they have accomplished, and thanks to their network of yards, can get you just about anything you need and ships all over the country. Marler Auto also operates it’s own towing, hauling truck as well. If you need it, chances are, Marler Auto has it, or can get it.
