Since 2005, we have recycled over 325 tons of paper and cardboard in Berkeley County. To put that in perspective, the average American car weighs about 2 tons. Berkeley Community Pride is comprised of members ranging from business leaders and elected officials to environmentally-conscious students. If you are interested in preserving the beautiful aesthetics of West Virginia and working towards a more renewable way of life, you are welcome here.Berkeley Community Pride helps the community in various ways from recycling drives to roadside cleanups.

Our mission is to reduce litter, encourage effective community-wide recycling, and promote the education of our youth in the responsible use of our resources.
