Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. opened in December of 2009 with its location in West Kelowna. The founder of Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. has over 20 years experience in the Recycling and Waste Management industry not only in the Okanagan, but also in the Lower Mainland and Calgary markets.Prior to Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. opening in West Kelowna, the only place to take metals was the Regional Landfill, which charges for drop off of metal goods. Planet Earth Recycling pays for certain commodities such as copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, automotive batteries and electrical wire.

Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. also offers a higher level of e-waste recycling then was previously available in the Central Okanagan. The two existing programs are not all that convenient to the public, or to commercial generators. Not only that, but the existing programs only take limited electronic waste, called Phase I electronics. Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. accept both Phase I and Phase II e-waste such as fax machines, scanners, stereos, cell phones, vcrs, dvds, etc.Planet Earth Recycling Ltd.’s team of uniformed drivers offer pick-up services to offices requiring a reliable recycling program. With new equipment and new clean recycle totes, Planet Earth Recycling will make your office’s recycling program more professional, efficient and effective.

Our company’s overriding philosophy is to cater to our customers individual recycling needs by using a consultative selling approach, to provide professional on time service at reasonable rates, and to give back to the community by providing employment opportunites to the disadvantaged.

Commercial Program

• Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. uses 65 or 95 gallon totes similar to those used by the Regional District for the residential curbside collection program. We offer free consultation to any business interested in implementing or improving an office recycling program.

• Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. can work with any size application from a one person home office to larger industrial/institutional clients.

• Planet Earth Recycling Ltd. uses a toter switch program in that when we come to service the account we take away the full tote and leave a clean empty one. We can collect all grades of papers, plastics, metals etc.

• We can either set you up for on call or regularly scheduled service and our rates are competitive with the market.Service area is from Vernon to Osoyoos.
