Carolina Waste & Recycling, LLC is a locally owned and operated recycling and waste management company. Founded in 2002, by George W. Fennell and his son G. Scott Fennell, Carolina Waste & Recycling has grown into the largest independently owned waste hauling company in South Carolina. We have established an expert team with a vast amount of experience handling commercial, industrial, residential, and municipal contracts. Our dedication to safety, efficiency, and environmentally friendly practices makes us the Lowcountry’s #1 choice. In 2008, as part of our continuous growth, we began operating Carolina Landfill, LLC, a Class II DHEC permitted landfill. Located in Dorchester, South Carolina, Carolina Landfill accepts industrial and C&D materials from the surrounding counties. Helping shape how waste materials are handled and recycled in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, George and Scott built Carolina Processing & Recycling, LLC in 2009. As a DHEC permitted transfer and recycling station, we accept C&D, industrial, MSW, and an expansive list of recyclable materials. The facility recycles brick, block, concrete, dirt, asphalt, tires, pallets, wood, yard debris, cardboard, office paper, plastics, fervous and non fervous metal, comingles, shingles, sheetrock, carpet, and carpet pad.
