Nick Metal & Recycling Inc. established in 2006, is a family owned and operated metal recycling  company. We buy and sell  ferrous and  nonferrous metals. We are located in Jayess, MS and serve customers primarily within a 30 mile radius of Jayess. Nick Metal & Recycling provides fast, honest, and dependable service and valuable information to our customers. 

Nick Metal & Recycling buys and sells ferrous and nonferrous metals. Tons of metals are baled and transported to surrounding shredder mills. Metals are baled to desired capacity of the shredder mills. Junk cars are crushed or baled for easy transport to the shredder mills.Nick Metal and Recycling serves Pike, Walthall, Lawrence, Lincoln, and Marion counties in Mississippi. These five counties are approximately twenty miles from Nick Metal and Recycling. We are pleased to provide this service, and we look forward to working with our customers and surrounding mills.

Who We Are

Nick Metal & Recycling was established in 2006 by Ray Nick.  Ray has over twenty years of experience in the scrap industry. The company is located on forty acres in Walthall County, MS outside of city limits.

Cars, Tin, Motors, Long & Short Iron, Copper, Brass, Radiators, Heater Cores, Aluminum, Aluminum Cans, Car Wheels, Stainless Steel, Electric Motors, Starters, Alternators, Transmissions, Lead, Die Cast, Carbide, Batteries, Appliances, Catalytic Converters, Etc.

ITEMS WE DO NOT PURCHASE
Paper, Plastic, Wood, Glass, Computers, Televisions, Man Hole Covers, Capacitors, Cardboard, Foil, Newspaper, Radioactive Materials.

REGULATED METALS
In accordance with MS state law (Senate Bill 2006), we purchase scrap copper metal, via check. Catalytic Converters not attached to a motor vehicle is also a regulated metal. A valid government identification card must be presented at the time of the purchase. Checks will be mailed after 3 days.

COMMERCIAL SCALES
We weigh customer materials on 11X72 ft. scales certified by the state of Mississippi, and we have an easy entrance and exit route.
