Our Mission

When Eurokey Recycling was founded the recycling industry was in its infancy. Segregation was poor; collection and reprocessing technology was very basic; customers did not identify the value of material they were paying waste companies to land fill and the markets in the Far East were only emerging.Now Eurokey Recycling operates in a Global Market where material is transferred around the world to produce finished product which is purchased in the UK.

Continued and ongoing investment has been made in technology to collect, segregate and recycle a wide range of materials. The company has dedicated core of employees, from a variety of backgrounds, who have developed with the company. Much of the success of the company is a result of their dedication and hard work. Recyclable Sorting

With the ever demanding requirements to achieve higher quality requirements from end markets we are pleased to say that Eurokey can offer a picking and segregation facility at our site.This semi-automatic process includes the utilisation of a series of magnets to extract both steel and aluminium cans as well as the ability to manually pick other materials.We have the ability to break down recyclables into eight different fractions to add significant value to co-mingled material inputs. Throughput is very much dependent on the makeup of the material and we are happy to conduct trial loads to work out the cost and efficiency of this type of sorting. We have recently conducted some trials on mixed papers which have achieved positive results.

Full Waste Audit

We are experienced in working closely with our clients in order to identify potential waste streams and provide revenue from these for the customer.We will advise on the best ways of collecting the waste, storage, removal and segregation. Metals
Steel and Aluminium cans always have a value and we can process them baled or loose. Indeed, we have invested in technology which allows us to separate the steel from the aluminium at a rate of five tonnes per hour, improving our operational costs and enabling us to offer you a competitive price.

Cardboard
It's not only plastic we can uplift we are happy to collect your cardboard and can give advice on baling and handling. We have built up a strong network of paper mills and can always provide a competitive price in this variable market.

Plastic
We can offer the best value for your plastic waste if it is segregated, clean and in mill size bales. We can offer advice on how to improve the quality, increase the value and we are happy to share the revenue. By doing this, we want to establish strong long-term relationships.
