Roll Cart Service

• 35, 65 and 95 gallon roll carts are available.
• Carts must be curbside or on the main paved road by 7:00 am.
• No sod, rocks, dirt, concrete, paint, hazardous materials or liquid cooking oil should be place in cart.
• Carts must be place 10 feet from vehicles and 5 feet from trees, poles, basketball hoops, mailboxes and other carts and recycle bins.

Container Service:

• 1 yd. 1.5 yd. 2 yd. 3 yd. 4 yd. and 6 yd. containers available.
• Containers must be accesible by 5:00 am on day of service. Minimum service level is one pick up per week.
• No sod, rocks, dirt, concrete, paint, hazardous materials or liquid cooking oil should be place in container.
• Contents should not be compacted. Pricing is based on loose waste.

One Dump Service

• For all of your large volume solid waste disposal needs.
• For residences within the City limits of Cottage Grove,4 yard and 6 yard containers are available for delivery to your home.
• For large volume solid waste disposal, 12, 15, 20 and 30 yard roll-off boxes are available.
• No rocks, concrete, soil, white appliances, chemicals, hazardous materials or liquids can be placed in containers or roll-off boxes. Please contact our office for proper disposal of these items.

• Compost grass clipping, leaves & non-woody organic plant material.​
• Use durable consumer items such as razors, cameras, cell phones, etc ... in lieu of disposable ones.​
• Rent or borrow infrequent used items: tools, garden equipment, trailers. If you purchase these items, they are eventually going to become waste when they break or wear out.​
• Request information in digital form: brochures, letters, bills, photos. etc ...​
• Purchase recycled products.​
• Buy higher quality items with a longer life: tires, batteries, electronics, clothing, shoes, bath towels, bedding ...​
• Use email in lieu of paper memos and letters at work.
• Use public transportation - save fuel and wear and tear on your vehicle.​
• Ride a bike. Get to where you are going while exercising your body and saving consumable energy.​
• Use tupperware or empty food containers for leftover in lieu of saran wrap and foil.
• Shop at thrift stores - and avoid purchasing new.​
• Share magazines and books.​
• Purchase an ebook in lieu of a paper one.​
• Use durable bags at the grocery store - avoid plastic and paper bags.​
• Purchase products sold in bulk form: flour, sugar, pasta, rice, nuts and spices.
