The Roll Form Group (RFG) has supplied heavy roll formed product to major industries for over 45 years.The company was established in 1967 as Canadian Metal Rolling Mills (CMRM) in conjunction with Samuel, Son & Co., Limited. Samuel is known in North America as one of the largest metals distributors and processors, with a history beginning in Toronto, Canada in 1855.Over the years, CMRM expanded, including production floor space in the United States and became the Roll Form Group. Strategic amalgamations followed: Omega Joists (in 2008), Piling Products (in 2009) and Stanrail (in 2012). Combining these strengths, RFG is uniquely positioned to offer unequalled services for cold and hot roll forming mills, in-line notching, piercing, and punching. Separate fabricating bays also include shearing, brake forming, MIG and TIG welding, plasma cutting, precision drilling and assembly.With locations in both Canada and the United States, and with access to the Samuel distribution and transportation network, RFG services projects nationwide -- on-time and on-budget.RFG has been serving customers for nearly four decades and currently operates the largest cold roll forming mill in North America.

Products

Our roll formed products supply major industries including: rail transport, road transport, automotive, recreational, agricultural, office furniture, mining and heavy construction, such as seaport dry docks and highway guiderail systems. Roll formed parts range in size from a few inches, weighing less than 5 oz., to heavy, long and wide sections, measuring over 100 feet and weighing up to 4000 lbs. Shapes range from the simplest to the most complex and include in-line piercing, notching and welding. Custom fabrications can be provided as value-added customer service.

TESTING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

We know the structural components and load bearing materials manufactured by Roll Form Group (RFG) must endure the most demanding environments and we make sure they can stand the test of time and the forces of nature. RFG engineers and QA staff continually inspect the quality of products from raw materials to the finished goods. At RFG locations, on-staff engineers and quality control personnel assess and review customer requirements on a consistent basis. We research and source new materials, test the quality of raw materials, inspect for any product defects and ensure each shipment that leaves our facilities meets RFG high standards. Independent Metallurgical testing available: mechanical property testing, chemical analysis, non-destructive testing and corrosion testing.
