Ever Green Recycling was born to help businesses in Upstate South Carolina dispose of their waste in a more efficient and environmentally friendly manor. Originally just serving downtown Greenville customers, Ever Green currently services customers in every county in the upstate, recycling close to 3,000,000 lbs. of material in 2013. Ever Green has grown to include customers from all industries including professional offices, restaurants, hotel, property management groups, as well as large manufacturers. We look forward to continuing our quest to make the Upstate Ever Green!

Ever-Green Recycling is an “Ecopreneurial” business. SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING 
HELPING YOUR BUSINESS GO GREEN – THE EASY WAY

Single Stream Recycling is a process that allows users to put all of their paper, plastic, glass, aluminum and cardboard into a single container, without having to separate it. Our truck picks up your container, and brings it to a sorting facility, where it is separated, baled with materials generated by other customers, and then sent to the end user who uses it to make new products. All weights are reported to DHEC for use in their annual reports.

UNIVERSAL WASTE & ELECTRONICS RECYCLING

Ever Green handles Universal Waste and Electronics in a very unique way. Unlike many of our competitors, we accept mixed loads of universal waste and electronics. We will separate them, and then deliver them to local partners where they are broken down into individual components, and recycled. Certificates of recycling are provided once all materials are processed.

BIO-MEDICAL WASTE

Ever Green has a program that allows customers to be set up on route service, but only be charged for the boxes that they use. There are no long term agreements, and no minimums. We send a driver by, and when your boxes are ready for pickup, we switch them out, and process the waste properly. You are only billed when you need your next fresh box.

At Evergreen Recycling, we offer a variety of solutions to meet each of our client’s individual needs. Below are a few attributes that set EGR apart from our competitors:

• Place Containers on site – We offer a large variety of container options for our customers, from small 96 gallon containers all the way up to 53’ trailers to handle large amounts of recyclables.
• Service Customers – We service our customers depending on their needs. Some of our customers only need service once per week while others need service five times per week. Because of our large footprint in the Upstate, we can cater our services to meet the needs of each individual customer.
• Sort and Deliver Recyclables – After picking up your recyclables they are sorted and reused at one of our partner facilities. Through our single stream recycling program, customers do not have to worry about sorting their recyclables.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

American’s account for roughly 5% of the world’s population, yet generate almost 30% of the world’s trash. This level of waste is simply not sustainable. At EGR, we partner with companies of all sizes to develop recycling programs that work. If a recycling program is too complicated or labor intensive, employees will not use it. This is why we work to make recycling as easy as possible on our customers through the use of single stream recycling. By recycling with EGR, you and your company should see at least a 50% reduction in the amount of waste that will be sent to the landfill.

As Evergreen has grown over the past decade, we have hired more drivers, processors and managers. This has increased our workforce to serve our customers, but it has also created jobs in the Upstate. We are committed to not only our customers, but also to our employees. We utilize all of the latest safety measures to ensure that our employees as well as the employees of the processors that we use are always protected.

Evergreen Recycling is proud to be headquartered in the Upstate.
