Ken’s Sanitation has been in operation for over 50 years from one generation to another. Over the years we have developed many services to fit the needs of our customers including construction dumpsters, weekly garbage service, and various recycling services.

Below is a list of items we cannot accept:

• Any sealed units or tanks (including propane tanks)
• Nickel Cadmium or Lithium Batteries
• Sodium Switches
• Any unknown chemical substances or residue.
• Paint Cans: full or empty.
• Asbestos or items contaminated with asbestos (Insulated Pipe and Transite Concrete Fiber Board)
• Oil Filters
• Liquid or gas filled containers of any kind (i.e., oil cans, gas tanks, reservoirs w/fluids)
• Acetylene Containers
• Any unknown hazardous waste, substance, material or scrap contaminated by the same (batteries, PCB’s, smoke alarms, radiation, freon, paint, chemicals, etc.)
• Capacitors- PCB (sources: washers, refrigerators, air conditions TV’s etc.)
• Florescent Light Fixtures with capacitors and bulbs. (We only take the fixtures)
• Oil or Unknown Liquids
• CRT Tubes
• Ballasts containing PCB (sources: light fixtures, stoves, etc.)
• Electronics, Computers, PC’s, Televisions, etc.
• Ordinance and Ordinance related materials
• Mercury Switches and thermostats
• Aerosol Cans
• Radioactive Materials
• Shock Absorbers (must be cut in half)
• Tires; (a tire fee will be deducted)
• Rubber Flaps
• Trash, paper, wood, rags, foam, cardboard, glass etc.
• Wooden Pallets
• Steel cable, unless cut into two foot lengths
• Heavy Equipment must be drained of all fluids
