Unlike many of our competitors, we process all of our materials indoors, avoiding contamination of our soil and water resources. We use no chemicals when processing recycled material, instead choosing to process recycable materials mechanically.

Our main plant is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Housed on four acres of land and occupying over 100,000 square feet of indoor space, our facility was designed with ultimate energy efficiency in mind. For example, aluminum by-products are considered hazardous material by the Department of Transportation and OSHA. As such, there are special regulations regarding handling and storage. Schuster Metals is a class 4.3 certified hazardous material handler. Schuster Metals abides by the Department of Transportation and OSHA Code of Federal Regulations that governs the marking, shipping and handling of hazardous material.
