State Screw Products, Inc.

State Screw Products was founded in March of 1975 by Bill Graessle.

With two Brown & Sharpe screw machine, some oil and very little tooling , Bill worked out of the back of a small rented building in Fraser, Michigan. Through hard work, vision, and, most importantly, the quality of his products, Bill has expanded his business. Today, Bill Graessle owns the building in Clinton Township, Michigan that State Screw Products calls home. The building houses 15 Brown & Sharpe machines and, 6 Swiss Style CNC lathes, along with 1 Turret Style, 1-5/8' CNC lathe, and a large inventory of various, certified material, to complete the needed jobs.

While still using Brown & Sharpe machines for more cost effective jobs, we utilize the Swiss Style CNC lathes to produce more complete, complex parts with a higher degree of accuracy .
