History

Chattahoochee Gutter Co., Inc. has been in business in the Chattahoochee Valley area since 1973 delivering phenomenal service and satisfaction to homeowners and commercial customers. Our company was founded by William Leffler, who specialized in siding, gutter sales, and installations. Helmi joined the company in 1976 when she married William. The company became incorporated in Alabama in 1978.

In 1982, Randy Evans became an installer and then joined the company in 1985 as a full partner. In 1985, we invested in equipment to manufacture 2” x 3” and 3” x 4” downspouts and elbows.This allowed us much greater quality control of our products. It also gave us the ability to satisfy specialty downspout and elbow requirements. The potential of our manufacturing lead us in 1987 to new horizons involving wholesaling materials to the area. This included sheet metal and gutter contractor materials.

This fulfilled a need for a local supplier of these products. Our investing in machinery and wholesaling created new jobs throughout our community rather than sending revenues to out-of-town areas. In 2007, we began offering the Gutter Helmet® system as the exclusive dealer in our area. Chattahoochee Gutter Co., Inc. is a family-style business still run by the original owners with many long-term employees.

We take great personal pride and care in the quality of work our business produces. We have been listed with the Better Business Bureau since 1973 and have been an accredited business member in good standing since 1985.
