First State Steel Drum Company is a family owned and operated business founded in the late 1950's by John V. Ryan, Sr. Our reputation and years of experience assures that every container is transported and processed in an environmentally approved manner from our conveniently located warehousing and processing facilities. We are a full service container wholesaler and recycler.

Our Mission

We provide area companies with a complete reliable source of DOT/UN approved containers. An environmentally responsible outlet for used empty containers and reconditioning or recycling where necessary. Our inventory of U/N approved containers, new, used and reconditioned are available for immediate delivery no matter what the quantity.

We are centrally located in the Wilmington, Delaware Industrial area with easy access to the Delaware Memorial Bridge, Port of Wilmington and the major truck arteries both Philadelphia and New York to the North and Baltimore and Washington to the South.
