THE HISTORY OF SERVICE STEEL, INC. IN HUNTSVILLE, AL

Service Steel, Inc. has proudly served construction teams, contractors and residents in Huntsville, Alabama with quality steel fabrication since 1965. We remain a family owned and operated company and a proud member of our local community.

Monty & Matt Taylor continue to grow and expand to meet the increasing demands of the construction industry. Herb Taylor founded and presided over the company until his passing in 2008. During those 40 years, Service Steel, Inc. expanded, adding employees and moving into a 27,000 square foot fabrication shop.

Recent expansions have increased our operating area to 49,750 square feet and new solar panels provide most of our energy requirements. Service Steel, Inc. now includes 27 employees and works on projects across the country including Rikers Island Prison in New York City.

Service Steel, Inc. maintains good standing in both our community and the fabrication and construction industry. We are fully licensed steel fabricators and are members of multiple respected associations.
