Residential Staircase makeovers include; Color and/or Style Change, Decorative Iron Balusters or Hardwood Steps. Current trends reflect deeper richer color with modern lines such as Box Newels (post). Additional capabilities include custom fabrication of metal staircases (mono stringer) with horizontal stainless steel handrail systems or Exterior “maintenance free” metal rail systems for Deck, Porches or Entry ways.

WE TAKE CARE OF YOU

While we are guests in your home, we protect your floors and environment in every way we can. We protect your floors with rubber mats and seal off the work area. We use only top-quality commercial equipment to assure a dust-free, clean environment. Iron-smiting and carpentry are staged from our custom built trailers (exterior of your home). Our patent-pending technology for handrail strength, accu-measure cutting system, assures your design will be installed properly. After cutting and removing your old balusters, we vacuum the entire area before beginning the iron installation.

When our job is finished (typically in just 1 Day), you have a beautiful Staircase with Iron Balusters and your home is ready to enjoy.

BUILDING CODE COMPLIANCE

Ultimately the question of code compliance is a local matter. A municipality may have it’s own specific requirements. Local building inspectors and code compliance officers often have different interpretations of the Internation Residential Code (IRC). International Building Code (IBC), or the older ICBO, CABO or SBCCI codes. Some municipalities may have specific handrail, baluster and riser code requirements. Often the local code requirements for a secondary stair or a stair that serves an open loft area will be much less stringent.

It is the Customer’s RESPONSIBILITY to consult with the local building inspector or code compliance office for information with respect to local code requirements.
