Modern Gear & Machine has been a family operated business since 1978. The company originated as a job shop and has evolved into a precision machine shop specialized in producing high quality gears and related components. We pride ourselves on providing personalized customer service and our ability to meet our customer's quality, delivery, and cost requirements. We manufacture various types of power transmission products to the customers specifications. Our specialties include spur gears, helical gears, worm & worm gears, splines, shafts, sprockets, straight bevel gears, and timing pulleys. Sizes range from 1/4 inch up to 36 inches in diameter. Prototypes to high volume runs, we have the capability to manufacture your product complete on our floor. We also provide gear teeth cutting service for those customers who prefer to supply us their machined blanks.
