TASUS

1151 W. Second Street, Bloomington, Indiana, United States | Plastic Recycling

In 1950 our parent company was founded. Tsuchiya Co. Ltd. of Nagoya, Japan, is a key supplier to many of the world’s leading manufacturers, including: Toyota Motor Corporation, Sanyo Electric, Kubota Corporation, and Hino Motors. In the late 1980’s, TASUS Corporation began its operations in Bloomington, Indiana, with the primary objective to supply automotive sub-components to the Midwest market. Shortly after, Craft Originators (est. 1931) was purchased and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tsuchiya and enlarged its product line when assigned printing work from TASUS Corporation.  With Craft’s extensive experience in printing and specialized design and manufacture of nameplates, graphic overlays, and labels, TASUS printing equipment was moved to the Hamilton, Ontario, facility to allow room for greater expansion into injection molding and assembly processes. In its efforts for continuous improvement and overall efficiency, Tsuchiya has brought Craft under the TASUS umbrella to produce and deliver innovative, high-quality graphic identifications and functional converted components for mid to high volume automotive and transportation market customers.  Tsuchiya Group continues to expand in North America including a manufacturing facility in Georgetown, Texas to better serve our market in the southwest; and Florence, Alabama to provide much-needed injection molding production to the southeast. North America trading and research and development functions are within the headquarters and technical center located in Bloomington, Indiana.
