After 20 years in metal restoration, expanding the Midwest market, and executive VP in Chicago, in 1978 Jerry Reidy was ready to utilize this background for his own company, reidy metal services, inc. Come 1983, a building boom was happening in Denver, Colorado where Jerry realized his company’s headquarters belonged. Denver’s growth spurt in the 80’s saw downtown office space with an astounding 18% annual growth rate from 1980-1988. reidy was smart to keep prices low with the quality and service that building owners came to appreciate. Each year they would add new buildings with existing buildings, which, over time grew their incredible market share to what it is today.

Jump forward to today and Jerry’s daughter Kelly Reidy continues down the same path operating the company. They realize that while reputation is something built over time, you don’t rest on it. So reidy continues with the philosophy of good pricing for a superior quality of work. Kelly Reidy also adds a new focus on green processes through recycling, lowering carbon emissions, decreasing VOC’s, all helping buildings achieve LEED certification.   With a history through economic booms and too many recessions, this steady and understated approach continues to grow the reidy metal business and stand the test of time.
