SCS is a patented mechanical brushing surface treatment that improves hot rolled black strip, making it a better base material for fabricators and OEMs. This environmentally-friendly process gives hot band sheets or coils a clean, rust-resistant ‘cold rolled’ surface ready for fabrication or painting.
