Southwest Metal Finishing offers Anodize Type II (Sulfuric) and Type III (Hard Coat) as well as “Chem Film” Conversion. We anodize both clear and color, for those who prefer a bright dip application; we offer those services as well. Anodize & Chem film is all we do and consider ourselves to be “experts” in the field. Our large process tanks (10’ x 6’ x 3.5’) allow us to be a one-stop source for both large “one of a kind” parts as well as a “Job Shop” production facility servicing lot sizes from 1 to 100,000 pieces. History
Southwest Metal Finishing opened its doors in January of 1999, its goal was to supply anodize services that supported the original owners manufacturing company's requirements. Additionally the plan was to sell surplus time to customers in the Phoenix metropolitan area. In 2002 the manufacturing market shifted and the main demand for services was greatly reduced. In late 2003 the company brought back the current General Manager and hired a new president to lead the company back from its eminent demise. In July of 2004 the company was purchased by the current company president and his business partner, since the purchase, the company has enjoyed solid growth through aggressive marketing and consistent quality.
