Alabama Wire, Inc. is a leading independent source for cold-drawn wire. For more than thirty (30) years, we have supplied wire and wire products to a variety of industries and customers. Located just south of Birmingham, Alabama, we operate from a modern 50,000 square foot facility.Straightened and cut wire is our specialty, and we offer the widest range of wire diameters and lengths available anywhere. Choice of materials is also extensive, covering the full range of low carbon bright basic, low carbon galvanized, high carbon spring wire, stainless steel, and aluminum. Many other ferrous and non-ferrous grades are available upon request.Coiled and re-coiled wire is available, as well. Many sizes and grades are inventoried on-site for immediate shipment. In addition, we have access to the inventories and production capabilities of most major wire drawers in the U.S.Our wireforming and fabricating department produces custom wireforms to your specifications. CNC wireformers allow rapid prototyping and provide for competitive pricing even for small and medium run quantities. A full complement of conventional machine tools is on hand to perform a wide variety of wire forming and fabricating operations. This provides great flexibility to make your part in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.Our wireforming department also produces our Nursery Products line, which includes Container Stabilization Baskets, Container Hooks , and Metal Tree Stakes . Distributor of aluminum alloy coiled and re-coiled wires. Available from 0.048 in. to 0.625 in. wire gauge size. Materials worked with include grade 1100, 2024, 5052, 6061, and 7075 aluminum. Finishes include bright and matte, plastic and powder coated, regular mill, galvanized, and electroplated. Also a custom manufacturer of straightened wire, cut wire, and nursery products. Industries served include construction, consumer and leisure goods, display, shelving, signage, industrial manufacturing, furniture, nursery and horticulture, spring-making, and steel supply.
