Initially, Residual Materials Inc (RMI) purchased obsolete main frame computer systems and their related equipment. We have now extended our scope of recycling to include public and industrial scrap. RMI is also closely affiliated with two recycling centers in Minneapolis: K&K Metal Recycling, LLC and Re-Alliance, LLC.RMI has just finished remodeling our Steel Warehouse.  We added a new Sierra Baler and conveyor system to cut and bale steel. In addition to the baler, we installed a recycling system to drain the fluids out of vehicles, this allows us to buy cars for the scrap steel they contain.RMI has just finished remodeling our nonferrous warehouse.  We added a new purchasing area with 6 scales, a new parking lot and public restrooms.  In addition to the new public area we added a new nonferrous baler and conveyor system in order to process, store and transport the material we buy to other recycling centers or foundries for futher recycling.  Click here to see photos of the baler and conveyor system.
