In 1990, Jorgensen merged with Kilsby-Roberts, the largest distributor of specialty bar and tubing in the country. On April 3, 2006, EMJ became a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. Products

Bar

EMJ offers a broad array of bar inventory in commercial and aircraft alloys, carbon, stainless, brass, hard and soft alloy aluminum. In stock shapes include round, square, hex and rectangle. Bearing quality bars and VAR are also in stock. EMJ’s depth of bar inventory is unmatched in the industry.

Tube

EMJ stocks tubing in multiple grades of, carbon, alloy, stainless and aluminum. Our inventory includes a full size range of carbon DOM and alloy and carbon seamless and welded tubing in both the cold and hot finished conditions. Stainless and aluminum tubing in commercial and aircraft quality are available as well as a full size range of structural carbon square and rectangle tubing.

Plate

Matched with our vast array of plate processing capabilities, EMJ’s offers plate inventory in multiple grades of carbon, stainless, alloy and aluminum plate for both commercial and aircraft applications. Plate processing includes, flame, plasma and water jet cutting as well as grinding and thermal treatment.

Aluminum Extrusions

EMJ offers a broad range of standard aluminum extrusions in multiple bar shapes including round, square, hex and rectangle as well as extruded tubing. EMJ works closely with our suppliers to provide multiple options in non-standard extrusions designed to reduce machining time and wastage.
