JR Adam & Sons is a fourth generation family business, specialising in the processing of ferrous and non ferrous metals into high quality furnace feed, suitable for domestic and international smelters. The company has, over the years, responded to the environmental and quality standard challenges to recycle scrap metals into high grade raw materials. We operate a shredder, baling press, hydraulic shear and mobile car press. We are geared to serve all processing requirements.We will buy all types of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap arisings. We handle large contracts negotiated annually and are always looking to increase our volumes. We will price  demolition contracts and also tender for on-going production factory contracts.

Our shredder is designed to extract the metallic content , both ferrous and non ferrous from the input material and this is achieved through a series of Magnets,eddy currents and non ferrous separation systems. By 2015 95% of material going into the shredder will be recycled.
