Steel fabrication and mechanical engineering business servicing the mining, power generation, construction, petrochemical and food processing industries.Conveyor &General Engineering have 2 x 2000sq meter workshops at Crestmead in Brisbane's Southern Metropolitan Industrial area and employ a team of 45 metal trades personnel and 7 Electrical personnel.The metal trades staff have had extensive experience in the fabrication of structural steel, stainless and mild steel tanks, specialized materials handling equipment, plant removal, refurbishment and relocation.The Electrical Staff have experienced personnel who specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of switchboards and field equipment including safety systems and security cameras in all types of industrial situations to AS3000 and machine safety to AS4024.1. The industries include mining, brickworks, food processing plants and hazardous areas.C&GE also has a labour hire section that provides Fitters, Electricians, Boilermakers, Supervisors and Site Engineers to clients requirements on hourly or contract ratesOur design team utilizes Auto CAD Electrical, Mechanical and Inventor software for all design and drafting to ensure precise workshop fabrication. C&GE fabricates equipment and structures to customer’s drawings incorporating specialist sub trades and project control if required.The Company takes pride in each project undertaken with staff that take personal ownership of their work. Quality Assurance Accreditation is in place to ensure the best possible attention to work practice, product quality and customer service.On acceptance of the proposal a detailed design is completed using AutoCAD 2009 format with on site surveys to integrate with existing equipment. In some cases material examination is required and the material is sent to specialised laboratories at various universities for detailed examination as to the properties required for conveying.When the final design is approved manufacture from detailed workshop drawings is commenced, the quality assurance program to the latest iso 9000 series is applied and our GA Department records all the required monitoring with customer inspections.Installation is by our experienced artisans under the control of our installation engineer the final commissioning is completed with the proposal engineer to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the completed job.We hope our website provides an informative overview of some of our more innovative projects.
