We are a small team of highly experienced professionally qualified Engineers with a strong Technical background, offering spare parts, tools, service, maintenance, consumables and consultancy.

We also refurbish and sell quality used recycling equipment to the plastics industry.

With over 20 years experience in the Design, Commissioning, Sales and Service of Plastics Recycling equipment, our Technical Director John Watman now leads Oxplas, offering a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the plastics industry.

Following graduation in Engineering Materials and Design from the University of Portsmouth in England, John worked with recycling machinery manufacturer Munchy Ltd close to Oxford UK, from 1992 until 2002.

Five years was spent travelling worldwide, working on the installation and commissioning of recycling systems. Later moving into project and design engineering, and ultimately as Technical Manager.

Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, John is now available for consultancy on all types of plastics recycling project, pelletising and extrusion equipment, die face cutters, edge trim recycling, shredding, granulating and materials handling

Specific areas of expertise are the pelletising of BOPP, OPP, Non Woven PP, Rafia, as well as all types of LDPE / LLDPE / MDPE / HDPE / PS / OPS / HIPS / EPS and various other polymers.
