Apex Quick Skips provides complete waste management and whilst running as its own independent business, also plays a vital part of managing and supporting Apex Demolition’s key operations. Being in control of our own waste disposal, whether it be via our skip network of RORO’s or 8w lorries, we can ensure that our programmes are met in the knowledge that we are supported in house and not reliant on third parties.

Apex Quick Skips transfer station is based at Peterborough, where all the waste is brought to for rigorous segregation into the relevant waste streams.

Formed in 2000, Apex Demolition are a Peterborough based demolition specialists operating in the demolition, asbestos removal, site remediation, bulk earthworks, site clearance and waste management services with a collective 80 years of experience. Based at our Head Office in Cambridgeshire, we currently operate on a nationwide basis servicing our extensive portfolio of industry-leading clients. Owning our own comprehensive range of fleet vehicles, tips, transfer stations and recycling centres, we bring a unique set of services providing a “one-stop” service to our customers to ensure maximum efficiency and cost savings to our clients throughout the procurement process.

Apex are proud to have worked for some of the country’s leading main contractors and housebuilders, as well as private developers, project managers, cost consultancies, local councils and many more. We are often engaged in the early phases of projects to provide extensive value engineering, detailed project sequencing and 3D methodology. We commonly assist our clients in discharging planning conditions through the production of CDM Plans, advanced demolition methodology, Traffic Management Plans, Dust/Noise/Vibration mitigation measures etc. As demolition specialists, we offer our industry expertise to enable our clients to progress the planning process as efficiently as possible.

OUR NEW OFFICE

As a result of several prestigious multi-million pound project awards in London, we have taken the decision to open a secondary office in Romford to further establish our foothold in the country’s capital. This enables our operations and management teams to manage projects across the entirety of London and the surrounding area more effectively. As our clientele and our project portfolio continues to grow, we aim to establish offices on a nationwide basis which will enable us to provide our services to all corners of the country.

We have recently completed the enabling works on the highly anticipated art’0tel project in the centre of Shoreditch. Our works included extensive asbestos removal, full scaffold & monarflex to facilitate top down hand demolition, high reach demolition and the removal of a 9.5m deep basement which was bounded by 3 major highways.

Before the structure could be demolished, the 2 Banksy Murals on the rear of the building had to be fully encased in a steel frame and crane lifted from the building. Apex took full responsibility for the design, supply and installation of all temporary works associated with the art removal.

BBC, ITV and several other news outlets attended site on the day of the lift for coverage of the movement of this popular art work.
