STEINAUER AG Recycling & Umweltservice

The former transport company with horse and cart, which has been owned by the Steinauer family since 1932, has developed over the years into a renowned, down-to-earth, innovative and sustainable company that has been run with passion in the 4th generation will.

The STEINAUER AG company logo with the ibex from the family coat of arms lives up to the motto “effort and aspiration”. According to this motto and with ethics, efficiency and determination, we run a successful family company that should remain a sustainable, innovative, environmentally friendly and familiar company in the long term.

We only have togetherness, together we are strong! Our family business is characterized by friendly, respectful, team-oriented and motivated interaction with one another as well as with customers, suppliers and business partners. With apprenticeships for commercial clerks, EFZ road transport specialists and EFZ recyclers, we are committed to future skilled workers.

Environment - for our future!

The fact that the environment should be viewed as an important asset worth protecting and that scarce resources are used responsibly is lived and passed on from generation to generation in our family business. We actively strive to continuously reduce the environmental impact of our entire business activity, so that the consumption of resources and emissions can be reduced. Sustainable for the future: With our lovingly furnished children's corners, children learn in a playful way how recyclable materials are separated so that they can be returned to the material cycle. In addition, we are committed to ensuring that regular tours of the recycling center can take place for school classes in order to raise awareness among children and young people about the topic of recycling waste.

With our own electricity, which is produced on the roofs or facades of our company buildings, we supply our large machines such as wood shredders, baling presses, in-house electric forklifts, electric cars and, from summer 2021, new electric trucks.

We strive to constantly develop and implement new innovations and even better and more environmentally friendly solutions in order to sustainably protect the environment for our future generations.

Quality

Since November 2008 STEINAUER AG Recycling & Umweltservice has been certified by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) according to ISO standards 9001 (quality management) and 14001 (environmental management). We adhere to the quality specifications and are constantly developing them. With the continuous improvement we want to continuously optimize ourselves in every respect.
