Greider Disposal, Inc.

Greider Disposal, Inc. was started by James H. Greider, with a bicycle and a wagon. Eventually, he and his son, Ray Greider, purchased a dump truck and began hauling trash. In the early 80’s, Ray purchased his first official trash truck. When Ray’s sons, James and JR, were old enough, they began working with their dad and grandpa in the family business. In 2013, Ray retired and JR Greider took over the family business, and the company name officially changed to Greider Disposal, Inc.

We understand what community means and do our best to serve the community.Greider Disposal, Inc. offers residential, curbside pickup for residences in the rural areas surrounding Salem, Illinois. Greider Disposal, Inc. also offer dumpsters for for residential and commercial permanent, weekly or bi-weekly, use. We have dumpsters from a 1 1/2 yard all the way up to an 8 yard. In addition, we offer “clean-out” dumpsters sized 2 yard and 4 yard for your clean-out needs!! Clean out dumpsters are available to all residences and businesses within City of Salem city limits or immediately outside of city limits. However, please note we do not take construction materials and there is a two-week time limit for these dumpsters.
