Recycling Management Resources (RMR)

Recycling Management Resources (RMR) is a plant-based recycling group focused on maximizing its client’s revenue generation from recyclable paper, plastic and metal scrap. We specialize in setting up industrial programs for Segregation, Collection and Movement of Recyclable Materials throughout North America and Europe with networks and customers all over the world.

With plant locations in Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC, High Point, NC, Louisville, KY, Barton, AL, and Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington, DE, Camden, NJ, and Richmond, VA; RMR is strategically located in order to provide plant services to it largest supply markets. All of our plants are equipped with roll cutters, shredders, and balers which provides the ability to service any and all needs from document destruction to warehouse or salvage cleanouts. With our own tractors and over 400 53’ van trailers, on time service is a top priority.

At Recycling Management Resources our most valued assets are our people.  Our most valued principle is an uncompromised commitment to the health and safety of those people.  RMR keeps safety at the forefront of our business with a comprehensive safety training program, daily safety meetings in all facilities, and a safety incentive program for all employees.  By utilizing these valuable tools daily, coupled with modern equipment, and constant self-inspection of our process, RMR is able to maintain that uncompromised commitment to all who enter our recycling facilities.

COMPANY HISTORY

2008
The beginning
Founded in January of 2008, RMR started with a small facility in Raleigh, NC. Upon starting up operations in March of 2008, RMR employed 5 people and processed about 600 tons per month of recyclable paper and plastic.

2009
Louisville, KY Plant
It didn’t take long for RMR to build business…with our commitment to exceeding our client’s expectations around service and value, word spread quickly and by September of 2009, RMR had opened its second facility in Louisville, KY.

2010
High Point, NC Plant
RMR kept the positive momentum in 2010 with the opening of its High Point, NC facility.

2012
Philadelphia, PA Plant
After acquiring a facility in Philadelphia, PA in 2011, it was another greenfield start up in Atlanta, GA in 2012.

2017
Today
Today, with the recent acquisition of National Paper Recycling, a New Jersey-based recycling company with 3 facilities, RMR is operating 8 recycling facilities, employing over 235 people and processing over 450,000 tons of paper and plastic per year.
We remain focused on exceeding the expectations of our clients and in doing so, we continue to exceed any expectations of what we can build at RMR.
