White Moss Horticulture Ltd

White Moss is one of the largest Green Waste composting processing companies in the UK. We manufacture high quality composts and other growing media, supplying large national retail outlets, landscapers, amenity companies and everyday gardeners with a truly sustainable product.

We recognised the need to be a responsible, environmentally conscious organisation and have accepted this challenge by integrating composting, substrate manufacturing and packaging at all sites.

Our unique facilities are strategically located to ensure that we maintain the lowest carbon footprint in large scale growing media manufacturing, maximise recycling opportunities and diverting tonnes per year of recyclable material which would have previously been lost to landfill.

As part of our environmental responsibilities we strive to reduce the impact of our business on the environment. We have restored a previous  peat bog to a natural wetland and peatland habitat which has become a haven for wildlife through our phased restoration project.
