Able Waste Services Limited is a Croydon-based waste management company, founded by Ilir Berisha in 2012, who is also the owner of Able Renovation Ltd, an established building company.

Able Waste was set up by IIir after using waste management services over many years for his building projects. After recognising how cutting costs by providing his own skips could result in savings being passed onto his clients, along with noticing the rising costs of waste disposal, he established Able Waste. He was also acutely aware of how he could make the waste disposal process more efficient, and with cleaner and greener methods of processing.

At Able Waste, we are constantly looking for better ways to improve our service to our clients, and are committed to 100% customer satisfaction. We continue to embrace new technology, ensuring that the business is working as efficiently and cleanly as possible, and that costs are kept as competitive as possible.

Able Waste developed relatively quickly from 2012, and the company acquired a 48,500 sq ft flagship waste management site in Imperial Way, Croydon. In 2015, the site was further developed with a state-of-the-art waste processing plant, resulting in the ability to process 250 tonnes of waste per day. This purpose-built sorting station removes 90% of all recyclable waste, including: metal, paper, plastic, wood and cardboard.

At Able Waste we have also invested heavily in taking key people on board, such as Ian Crate, who has over 30 years’ of experience as a leader in the waste management industry. Ian’s knowledge and experience facilitated Able Waste to quickly grow the Croydon skip company, designing and running the site in a modern, efficient and environmentally-friendly way. As a company we currently employ 20 dedicated staff, each who have also brought great service and experience to us as a business.
