John Gunner & Co Ltd

John Gunner & Co. LTD is a Family Owned and run business at the same location in Guildford, Surrey since 1907.

In 1968, John Gunner purchased the land from other family members and John began to recycle soils together with other associated materials. John sadly passed away in 2017; his family continues to run the business using the wealth of knowledge and experience garnered over the last 50 years.

John Gunner & Co. Ltd have gained a good reputation for the quality of our Soils, Composts and Aggregates.p>

In 2009 planning permission was granted to build our own Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) on site which has resulted in us being able to offer a trade tipping facility and skip hire service. The MRF enables us to recycle a much higher percentage of the waste we receive on site.

We are committed to maximising both the recovery and reuse of waste, significantly reducing the volume of waste going to landfill. In 2012 planning permission was granted for a fines clean up system enabling us to improve this.

We supply a very broad range of customers these including Landscape Gardeners, Golf, Football and Cricket Clubs, Local Authorities, Building Companies, Royal Households as well as the general public.
