M & M Machine is a CNC precision machine shop that was founded in 1972 and is located in Northern California between Auburn and Grass Valley. We strive to keep our reputation for high quality workmanship and excellent customer service as our main priorities. Our desire is to provide customers with an excellent experience, from placing an order to delivery of the finished product.

Our products and services include help with designing products, manufacturing prototypes, and producing machined parts made to your specifications. Our skilled machinists manufacture your products using CNC Mill and CNC Lathe work centers. We have the ability to aid and enhance your designs using AutoCad Software and SolidWorks. Our shops common materials used include aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass and plastics. We also are familiar with materials such as titanium, tungsten, and many other exotic materials.

Our service reaches a wide variety of industries. Some examples of our customers and their fields of expertise are the high tech field of laser production, audio/video equipment, stabilization components, body building equipment, after market motorcycle and automotive products, and 3D printing production.

Founded in 1972 in Mountain View, CA. Moved to Grass Valley in 1980; relocated to larger facility in Auburn, January 2003.

PERSONAL:
7 manufacturing employees, varied levels of experience to journeyman and 4 support employees

The company was founded by Richard Mitchell, father of Janis Duckett. Chris and Janis met in a grocery store and found out that they shared the same birthdays (AKA destiny). So, the two began their life long relationship together by kicking it in Europe for a few years until Richard called them one day and said, “get back over here or I am selling the business”. They married in 1979 and took over the business in 1980. They have four children: Kailah, Shanna, Brandon, and Jonathan.
